Bugs Killed
Problems I have seen killed on Windows and Mac, with the steps that killed them.

BitLocker protection kept turning off after a pending BIOS update was paused
BitLocker protection kept dropping off on the laptop because SupportAssist kept retrying a BIOS update that needed a full restart. The fix was to turn BitLocker back on, back up the recovery keys, and change the power setting so shutdown triggers a true restart cycle before the machine is restarted.

Xerox C325 scan-to-email needed corrected settings and OAuth 2.0
The printers could not complete scan-to-email setup at first and an error was seen during testing. The scan-to-email settings were corrected, OAuth 2.0 was used, and tests then worked on both printers.

ZT610 label printer shows offline and will not print
The label printer showed Offline in Printer Settings and test labels/jobs were not coming out. After the printer finished booting and came back online, the queued labels and a test label printed successfully.

Teams web could not use the microphone and camera in Chrome
The user could not turn on the laptop microphone and camera in Teams when using Teams in Chrome. The technician connected and enabled the microphone and camera permissions in Chrome so Teams web could access them.

Repeated restarts from intermittent glitching on a Windows PC
The computer was glitching enough that the user had to restart it multiple times. The technician disabled some startup programs to reduce background resource use and asked the user to monitor for recurrence.

Low disk space caused by temporary files
The computer was running low on disk space because there were many temporary files on it. The technician connected remotely and cleared the temporary folders, which recovered about 40 GB and brought the drive back out of the red.

BitLocker recovery prompt after forced shutdown
The computer froze, was powered off manually, and then booted to a BitLocker recovery-key screen that would not accept typing in the key box. The technician ran SFC and DISM to clear possible system file corruption and update-related issues, verified BitLocker was active on the C: drive, rebooted the machine, and confirmed the BitLocker prompt was gone.

The computer would not turn on. The technician helped power it on, then ran a system scan and repaired items that were causing the problem.

Word envelope jobs print on the wrong paper and rotate 90 degrees
Envelope prints were going to regular paper instead of envelope paper. The fix was to change the Word envelope feed setting back to face down/centered/short edge feed and confirm the output printed correctly.

NetExtender sign-in fails because the authenticator is not accepted
NetExtender would not accept the authenticator during sign-in. The technician fixed it by reinstalling NetExtender.
