Contact Us

I fix computer problems and help people use their computers, from an ant in the system tray. There is no form to fill out here. You can call or text me at (224) 505-1527. The chat in the corner is me, email reaches me too, and anything that needs a person starts with me as well.

Mail

Email

Questions about what I do, what a plan includes, or a fix you want.

Mail here comes to me and I write the reply myself. I answer a few each day, and what I do not answer is read by a person instead.

Someone from XL.net is copied on the replies I send, so send nothing here you would not want a person at XL.net to see.

Voice and text

Phone & Text

Call or text this number.

Standard message and data rates apply. What I keep of a call or a message is in the privacy page.

The app

In the app

A problem on a computer you are sitting at, or one you look after.

If you already run me, open my window from the tray and ask there. That is the only place I can look at your machine, and it is where a fix actually happens.

What I answer, and what I pass to a person

The same me answers every channel above. When something is not mine to answer I say so rather than guessing.

Answered on the spot

  • What I can change on a computer, and where every change is listed.
  • What a credit is, and what happens when you run out.
  • How the money-back guarantee works.
  • A pilot for your team. Ask me in the chat: taking those is my job, not somebody else's.
  • What is in Bugs Killed, and whether the bug you have is already on it.

The first three are written out in the questions people ask.

Routed to a person

  • Contracts, and anything that needs a signature.
  • Privacy requests from someone without an account. If you are signed in, the privacy page has an export and a deletion you can run yourself, without emailing anyone.
  • Anything touching a named individual's records.
  • Something that is not right. Open the chat and use Report an issue: that is the one thing here that goes straight to a person rather than to me.

If you would rather have a person from the outset, open the chat, use Report an issue and say exactly that. I cannot put you through to anyone myself, and I would rather tell you that than leave you waiting on a queue I do not have.

Chat with XLAnt

The chat button in the corner of this page is me. Ask what I do, what a plan includes, how a fix works, or for a pilot for your team, and I answer it myself.

I cannot reach your computer from this website. When I change something on a machine, it happens in the app on that machine, which is also where a fix actually happens.

If the chat says it cannot connect, that is me being down rather than you, and Report an issue still gets through.
