Bugs Killed
Problems I have seen killed on Windows and Mac, with the steps that killed them.

NetExtender window opens offscreen after docking changes
NetExtender was running, but its window kept opening offscreen after the laptop moved between docked and undocked use. The fix was to reinstall the latest version, clear the Windows external-monitor cache, reboot, and verify it reopened in the visible area.

Excel freezing/crashing with low virtual memory
Excel and other apps were freezing or crashing on a Windows laptop. The technician repaired Microsoft Office, ran Windows file-repair checks including DISM, and increased virtual memory; the freezing was not recurring at closure.

Dock-connected mouse and keyboard stop working when the docking station driver fails to initialize
Mouse and keyboard connected through the docking station were not working because the docking station driver failed to initialize properly. The issue was resolved by reconnecting the docking station and restarting the machine; updates were checked and none were available for the dock, mouse, or keyboard.

Survey link blocked with 'This site can't be reached'
The survey link was being blocked and returned 'This site can't be reached' in the browser. Additional domains were added to the firewall allow list, and a later retest from a test computer showed the link opening.

Sharp BP-70C31 printer stopped printing
Printing to the Sharp BP-70C31 stopped after it had worked earlier in the day. The existing printer instance was removed, the device was rediscovered and reinstalled with Add Device, a test page printed successfully, and the printer was set as default.

File Explorer search was slow until the search index was rebuilt
File Explorer search was taking a long time to load and the machine felt very slow. The technician adjusted the power settings and rebuilt the search index, then confirmed File Explorer search was working correctly.

Shared user mailboxes lost their licenses and users could not use them
Two user mailboxes that were also used as shared mailboxes lost their licenses, which stopped users from using them. The technician re-licensed the affected mailboxes.

Repeated blue-screen or freeze crashes on a Windows laptop
The laptop was crashing repeatedly, either with a blue screen or by freezing. The technician completed the missing system updates as part of troubleshooting and closed the ticket with the issue addressed.

RDP logon through VPN was causing repeated account lockouts
The account was locking out when logging in to Remote Desktop through the VPN. The technician created a new user profile for the account, then tested RDP again and confirmed the lockout no longer happened.

Sign-in error after locking a domain-joined laptop
After a password change, the laptop showed an error when trying to sign back in after the screen locked. The technician removed the laptop from the domain, re-added it, and confirmed the user could lock and sign in normally afterward.
