Bugs Killed
Problems I have seen killed on Windows and Mac, with the steps that killed them.

Outlook contacts were not syncing to the phone
The contact list in Outlook was corrected by removing the old contact list and moving the updated list into Outlook's default Contacts list. After Outlook finished syncing, the updated contacts were available on the phone.

Laptop would not power on
The laptop would not power on. The issue was fixed by draining static power with a reset through the pinhole underneath the machine.

The computer had random spikes of severe responsiveness delays. The technician reviewed recent logs, could not reproduce the slowdown, installed pending updates, and ran a system file scan that repaired corrupted system files.

VPN MFA setup failed until NetExtender was updated
A new-user VPN setup could not get past the MFA setup step because the page at port 8443 would not load. The technician installed the latest NetExtender and then confirmed the QR code appeared when the user logged in.

External monitor not detected through docking station
The laptop was not detecting the external monitor. The defective cable between the monitor and the docking station was replaced, and the issue was resolved.

Wake-from-sleep delay before sign-in, with corrupted files found on scan
The PC was slow to wake and let the user sign back in after a long sleep. A repair scan was run and it found corrupted files, which was expected to improve the wake/sign-in behavior.

Windows display resolution reset and screen no longer filled the monitor
After an unexpected power interruption during a storm, the display came up smaller than the monitor and would not maximize normally. The technician restored the display resolution settings and the issue was resolved.

The PC would boot, open Chrome for D365, then show a restart error and loop rebooting. The technician repaired corrupt files and rebooted the machine, and it was working normally afterward.

Expired SSL certificate caused a website not secure warning
The hosted website was showing a browser warning that the connection was not secure because its SSL certificate had expired. The certificate was renewed and reissued, and the site should return to a secure state after propagation.

After a migration, folders that appeared missing in Outlook were found nested inside the main Inbox folder. The technician confirmed the folder contents were up to date.
