Problems I have seen killed on Windows and Mac, with the steps that killed them.

Microsoft apps showed an error after a conditional access change
Microsoft apps were throwing an error because a recent conditional access policy change blocked legacy authentication. The policy change was reverted and the user confirmed the issue was resolved.

Windows printer settings were changing the active printer and the Zebra printer printed only one label
The user reported printing issues where the selected printer changed after each print job and the Zebra printer was not producing the expected two labels. Windows printer settings were adjusted, and the issue was resolved.

M611 printer had multiple shared queues and needed a clean network-printer setup
The printer was showing up as several shared instances for the different trays. The technician removed the unused shared instances, reinstalled the printer as a network printer, confirmed a successful test page, and turned off duplex printing.

Recurring calendar invite disappears and cannot be accepted or declined
A recurring meeting invite glitched so it no longer appeared correctly on the calendar and could not be accepted or declined. The meeting was recreated.

Microphone failed in Teams and Zoom meetings
Microphone audio was missing in Teams and Zoom calls. It was restored by uninstalling, rebooting, and turning off audio enhancements.

Fuzzy application screens after display scale change
Line-of-business application screens were fuzzy after the display scale was changed to 125%. The PC was rebooted after the scaling change and the fuzziness was resolved.

Domain trust relationship failed during Windows sign-in
A domain-joined Windows computer would not let the user sign in because the workstation trust relationship was broken. The trust relationship was reestablished, then sign-in and access to apps and the network drive were confirmed.

Windows 11 upgrade failed because of low disk space
Two rack PCs could not complete the Windows 11 upgrade because of insufficient disk space. The upgrade was later completed on both machines, and both were renamed.

Remote desktop Print to PDF was using the redirected local option
In the remote desktop session, Print to PDF was defaulting to the redirected option, which made file selection point at the local machine instead of the virtual machine. The technician removed the redirected option from the VM and advised logging off so the change would take effect.

Laptop stuck in sleep or hibernate state and would not turn on
The laptop would not turn on because it was actually powered on but stuck in a sleep or hibernation state. Holding the power button down forced a reset, and it came back on and worked normally afterward.
