Bugs Killed
Problems I have seen killed on Windows and Mac, with the steps that killed them.

Canon plotter was not reachable because its LAN setting was disabled
Plotting from Revit to the Canon plotter failed because the plotter was not accessible on the network. The LAN setting was enabled and printing was then confirmed to work.

Bank website login fails in Chrome until browser updates are allowed
The user could not log in to a bank website in Google Chrome. The fix was to allow Chrome updates and then update Chrome to the latest version, after which the site opened normally.

Built-in laptop keyboard keys stopped working
Spacebar, G, H, and T stopped responding on the laptop's built-in keyboard. The ticket was closed after a new laptop/workstation setup was completed and the user confirmed it was working.

Chrome extension install blocked by admin policy
Chrome would not let the user add an extension they had used before because an admin policy was blocking it. The technician made an exception to the policy so the extension could be installed again.

Printing failed while a Windows 25H2 update was pending a restart
Printing was not working because a Windows 25H2 update was pending. The update was completed and, after a reboot, printing worked again.

Old email file opened as squares because it had the wrong file extension
An old email file would open as squares instead of readable content. The technician determined the file was saved with the wrong extension and fixed it by changing the email file from .DOC to .MSG so it could open in Outlook.

Mapped drives unavailable because file server was unresponsive
Mapped network drives were unavailable because the file server was unresponsive. After the server was restarted, access to F and G was restored.

Virtual desktop network connection paused until the Azure Virtual Desktop preview app was changed
The virtual desktop connection was pausing and preventing sign-in. Another version of the Azure Virtual Desktop preview application was installed, and the user was then able to log back in and load applications.

Laptop enters hibernate and will not wake normally
A Windows laptop was reported to stop waking after about an hour idle. The technician said it appeared to be entering hibernate instead of normal sleep and changed power settings to disable that behavior.

The computer was reported as having performance issues. The technician removed a recently installed application and the machine was then described as running smoothly.
