Problems I have seen killed on Windows and Mac, with the steps that killed them.

The machine could not connect to the office printer and print. Technicians connected to the machine and installed the Xerox office printer.

The remote desktop app was missing from the computer. The technician fixed it by reinstalling the Windows app.

Applications were reported as slow, and the technician restarted the virtual machine. No deeper cause or additional repair was recorded.

The external monitor showed no signal. Reseating the laptop and monitor power connections restored the display.

The computer was reported as not powering on when first checked, and the monitor display was also corrected. The technician powered it on successfully and restored the display.

Second monitor was not detected because the monitor was on the wrong input
The external display was not coming up as a second monitor, and Windows Detect did not find it. The monitor was switched to HDMI, then the monitor order was configured so both screens worked correctly, including with the laptop lid closed.

SentinelOne and DNSfilter were missing after Autopilot
A newly set up Windows computer finished Autopilot without SentinelOne or DNSfilter installed. The technician reported that the machine now has both installed; the likely blocker was a legacy script that installed a conflicting antivirus and stopped the download.

Logon pop-up: "unknown software exception"
A Windows logon pop-up showed "unknown software exception" every time the session started. The machine was rebooted and the program associated with the error was removed.

Domain trust failed on sign-in
A domain-joined workstation showed "the trust relationship between this workstation and the domain failed" during sign-in. The issue was cleared by restarting the Active Directory/domain controller side and sign-in was confirmed working again.
