Bugs Killed
Problems I have seen killed on Windows and Mac, with the steps that killed them.

Windows laptop stuck loading before sign-in when docked
The laptop was stuck loading before the sign-in screen after a reboot. The dock was unplugged, Windows and firmware updates were installed on the laptop and docking station, and then the machine restarted and allowed sign-in normally.

Built-in Backspace and Enter keys stopped working on a laptop keyboard
The laptop's internal Backspace and Enter keys were unresponsive. A vendor keyboard replacement was arranged and the keys worked again afterward.

Laptop showed black screen and never POSTed; moved to replacement and configured profile
The laptop stayed on a black screen, did not show video on an external monitor, and never came online. The user was moved to a new or spare laptop, the profile was configured, and remote access was tested successfully.

Unexpected shutdowns with errors after reboot
The computer was shutting down on its own and showing multiple errors after restart. The technician ran scans, repaired corrupted files, and rebooted the machine; the user later confirmed it was working normally.

Windows app failed to reinstall from Microsoft Store
The Windows app had been uninstalled and the first reinstall attempt hit a generic error. Reinstalling it through Microsoft Store and signing back in restored normal operation.

SolidWorks could not obtain a license until the machine license was enabled
SolidWorks was unable to obtain a license on the user’s Windows computer. The technician remotely enabled the license on the machine and left the app open.

Cracked laptop screen; replacement machine configured
The laptop screen was cracked in the lower-right corner and showed black/white lines. A replacement machine was prepared, sign-in was restored by resetting the password and MFA, and applications, files, bookmarks, and settings were transferred.

M2M shows a Quit/Ignore error when saving or processing new transactions
Saving or processing new transactions in M2M failed with an error dialog offering Quit or Ignore. The M2M services were restarted on the server, and the issue was later confirmed resolved.

Laptop freezes and locks up; Windows and Office repair applied
A Windows laptop was freezing and locking up enough to require a hard shutdown and restart. The technician applied pending Windows updates, ran operating system scans, and repaired Office 365 after one crash appeared to involve Outlook, then left the machine in normal-use testing.

G HUB latest version was blocked by Windows Firewall and had to be rolled back
Mouse software stopped working correctly on the newest app version because Windows Firewall was blocking some features. The technician rolled it back to the previous version and disabled automatic updates.
