Postman desktop app would not open or uninstall
Postman would not open and uninstalling it was unresponsive, usually only showing a spinning circle and no error message. The app was reinstalled, updated to the latest version, and then verified to launch and sign in successfully.

What you see
- Opening Postman does nothing except briefly show a spinning circle.
- Sometimes the app appears in Task Manager, sometimes it does not.
- Uninstalling Postman is also unresponsive.
- No error message is shown.
Why it happens
Suspected Root cause not established in the ticket; the working fix was reinstalling and updating Postman.
