Mapped S drive inaccessible after password expiry

The user could not access the mapped S drive because the login password had expired. Support reset the login password and remapped the S drive, then confirmed Outlook, Teams, and OneDrive were connected.

Killed once by someone from XL.net, on 2025-12-17.

What you see

  • Cannot get into the mapped S drive.

Why it happens

Likely Login password had expired.

When it shows up

A mapped S drive stops opening and the account password is expired.

You are in this case if:

  • The account shows an expired password state.
  • The S drive mapping no longer opens until the password is reset.
